SW refugium clams help - DFW area

Anyone know where I can get a hold of littleneck clams for a refugium with rubble and sand?

I have tried multiple places in the DFW area and everywhere i go (including live seafood markets) do not carry live littleneck clams. I am looking for about 10 of the little buggers. I have read about them and how great they are for nitrates and ammonia and impurities in general in passing through the skimmer and into the return. So i want to see how well they do for my tank. 29t Reef

hmmm might have to ask your LFS if they can find a vendor with access to them and special order it or ask some online dealers

LOL that's because you're looking in the wrong area. Littlenecks are more commonly known for their gourmet flavor rather than their benefits in an aquarium. Ergo... look to the culinary side of life, rather than the hobbiest one. Several places will ship live ones, but it can get a bit costly. Here are two places that have the best prices.
