lionfish
puffers
groupers
eels
im sure there's a few triggers

and personally my jawfish, yellow clown goby, and lionfish
they'll actually come to me (the clown and jaw will go in my hand (im not letting the lion too close, lol)) when i stick my hands in the tank.. i feed them by hand so they are pretty acclimated to the whole "big *** hand comming towards me thing"

i recommend a clown trigger. big, colourful, personable. i had one that would follow me around the room, come and greet me... but not other people. i think it learned to associate me with food but not my dad by height, maybe? groupers/puffers/lions will beg as well, but in my experience with a panther grouper, bluelined hind, volitans lion, and clown trigger, only the trigger seemed to recognise me, the others would come out whenever anyone was at the tank.

ive read a review on clown triggors said they are the most pet like fish of all accounts off ones that will fetch foriegn objects and get them outta the tank almost like playing fetch also will make rock towers

A friend of mine had a panther grouper many years ago. It would come to the surface and greet anyone who entered the room. But if you put your hand in the tank it would move away quickly. If he put his hand into the tank it would lay on its side in his hand and let him lift it out of the water. It wouldn't do that with anyone else. It eventually got so big (15"+) it took both hands for him to lift it out. It would also 'play' with empty bottles and plastic balls. I've never seen one interact with anyone the way that one did since then.

When i worked at a pet store there was a panther grouper there for a long time. It would only beg when an employee went up to the tank. It must have recognized the style of the shirt, color, logo or something.

Porcupine puffer! Get large, and can bite your finger off but great personality.

i completely forgot about panther groupers

the ones at work will let you hold them while you're diving in the tank.. they actually come up to you for attention
