When I caught my bluegill it swallowed the hook so deep i couldnt get it out, so i cut the line. Will the fish be okay?

It will likely have internal bleeding and die. Will taste delicious though.

It's possible that it will survive. Most fish hooks these days are designed to break down over time, so it will likely disolve. Really depends on how much internal damage was done to the fish pulling it in. If it's still swimming and eating after a couple days with no issues then it will likely make it alright.

Probably a good idea to use barbless hooks if you're trying to catch them for your aquarium.

It would have a chance to live in the wild but I dont see him making it in an aquarium, its hard enough to get a healthy bluegill to eat in an aquarium in my opinion, theyre just not aggressive enough.
