Not too shabby! Can of black spray paint works for me though, much cheaper.

Hand made with styrofoam and some cheap tools.. Then cover it with a layer of colored paints, then clear epoxy, and you silicone it to the back of the tank before adding water. I have seen step-by-step DIY projects of these exact same things. They are cheap if you can construct them yourselves.
