Took a trip over to Shark Aquarium today. they had some sweet fish in stock. i picked up what will hopefully grow out to a 'cichla intermedia'
They had some kick *** Monos, Kelberi, temensis, piquitti, orino's, and occelaris in stock. they also has a pretty little black arowana and a shoal of Arapaima in stock.
over the years ive gotten many of the fish that i keep in my 700 from shark aquarium. my orino, azuls, and female marble have all come from there. they usually have some pretty sweet rare stock in at very reasonable prices. they had a couple of really nice TIGER rays in stock at a great price but unfortunately i dont have any more room for more large rays right now. they had some nice pikes, tigrinus, piranah and armatus too!!! tooooo many monsters not enought cash!!! lol
by the way.... most of the cichla at SHARK are already on pellets. they store feed hikari pellets at the store. i couldnt believe it when the girl who works there showed me how the Kelberi were pounding hikari sinking cichlid gold. that was a first for me. kelberi are almost impossible to get on pellets!
anyways... enjoy the photos!!
