Hi.

This night I was happily watching at my P's but I observed that one of them was rubbing one side of its body agains tank deco, similar as fish do when they have the Ich. So I aproached to the glass and was able to see a small protuberance in one of its sides, as if a mosquito would have stiched on it.

I am more or less worried, this P' behaves normal and looks healty but i dont know what this could be.

I am thinking about the possibility the P juts hit itself hard agains tank deco and his caused some sort of swelling but honestly I 've never seen it before.

Help folks!!!!!!

This swelling is where the black spot is and actually it is not completly rounded, it seems as if some kind of bone wanted to make its way throughout its skin...

dont see anything wrong around the black dot. nitrites cause fish to dart against dcor as well. what are params??

Does nitrites cause swalloging in fish body?

I dont know about the perameters, i dont have the stuff to take the lecture, but water is amlost mint, I have 2 filters one DIY inner filter of 2000 ltrs x hour and one modular filter of 720 litrs x hour.

In besides it it was the nitrites as you mentioned all the fish would be datring agaist deco and it is juts one...

Cheers.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what to say about it. Hope it works out for you tho. The color of your fish is awesome. What do you feed him?

Could be a tumor.. but you kinda covered it up with a black spot so its kind of hard to tell lmao..

The black spot is only to give you an Idea where the lump is.

Actually it is hard to distinguis that lump in a pic.

Cheers.
