Swim with, Keep, Eat ?

I remember the game of "**** Marry Kill", and then got the idea for a little game,

Name 3 fishes, assuming you only got to choose one for each category.

1.Which fish do you want to swim with ?

2.which fish would you keep ?

3.which fish would you want to eat ?

For me:

1. Mekong catfish (Pangasianodon gigas)
2. Boesemani stingray (Potamotrygon boesemani)
3. Halibut (either one is fine)

Swim....The Ocean Sunfish (Mola Mola). A peaceful giant, but sure funny looking, lol.

Keep....The European Perch (Perca Fluviatilis). My favourite fish. And one day it is going to happen, I just need to pull my finger out!

Eat....Bluefin tuna (Thunnus Thynnus). Cooked in a top Japanese restaurant.

Swim - Smooth Trunkfish - I followed one in Aruba for a bit and could watch it do it’s thing all day.

Keep - Red Belly Pacu - kept them once a long time ago and would love to do it right some day.

Eat - Mahi Mahi - It just tastes great

Swim with: Manta Ray, no question, nothing even comes close.

Keep: Probably would like to replace my recently-lost breeding colony of Red-tailed Xenotoca. Really enjoyed keeping those fish, still pissed off about losing them after putting the whole colony together, which is something I rarely do...but foolishly did this year.

Eat: Freshly-caught shore lunch of Walleye fillets...dipped in egg...rolled in flour and crushed corn flakes...fried in a hot skillet at mid-day in the north country. One of my favourite comfort foods, still never beaten IMHO by any other fish I've ever tried...and I've tried lots...

Catch: This category absolutely needs to be in here. My current bucket-list fish species to catch by angling is probably either a 60-inch Muskie (caught lots but never hit 60 inches, which is pretty much top of the record books), or a Tiger Muskie (a naturally-occurring PikeXMuskie hybrid...can't believe I've never caught one of these bad boys...) or possibly a large Wels catfish.

Swim with: Zebra Shark. Beautiful and peaceful. Would literally be a dream come true

Keep: Porcupine Puffer. I think the face speaks for itself.

Eat: I’d probably go with halibut as well. It’s one of my favorites.

Swim with: dolphins or sharks somewhere in the Caribbean.

Keep: A giant bumblebee grouper or a rtc

Eat: 100% agree with the walleye I personally like to grill it with some type of lemon sauce fried is also great though.

Catch: definitely a giant marlin or a Goliath tiger fish
