I was just wondering if there are any interesting fish that play in the plants. Thanks!

Have any species in mind? A lot of the bottom/middle dwelling fish I have enjoy laying in plants.

I notice my Celestial Pearl Danios like playing in and around the plants...

Whiptail cats will lay on big leaves waiting for treats to swim by.

I was thinking of some sort of coulerful tetra like fish but most just stay in the open and don't play in the plants.

Try getting little freshwater shrimp (usually sold at stores as bait fish) They literaly live/breed/eat in the plants. It's so cool to watch them colonize a plant

x2 this is the main reason why I first wanted Ghost Shrimp. They look so cute in planted tanks.

If you have long, grass-like plants, most fish will dart/weave through it. Right now in the 55g the only fish who really enjoy the plants are the Panda Garra's, Rummynose Tetras, Banded & Brown Kuhli loaches as well as the Dojo.
