Hey guys I've had a problem with 1 of my yellow perch, he has been the same way for about 3 weeks with no change. he isnt getting better and he isnt getting worse. He lays on the bottom and swims in spot, seems like he has a little trouble swimming. He is the only fish in the aquarium showing any symptoms. I've been feeding him and he eats as usual but his swimming hasnt gotten better. I've increased water changes to 25% twice a week. I also treated the tank for wasting disease which i thought originally but he had no change. Any body have any suggestions? im really stumped since he is the only fish with symptoms. could it possibly just be a bacteria infections??? he sometimes has a sunken in stomach aswell.
72 Gallon, cold water, 3 small sunfish, 1 black crappie, 2 yellow perch, various minnows in the tank. its also heavily planted.
