i recently bought a two inch AT and he is constantly swimming up and down the glass. he takes breaks and looks healthy and stable. is this just normal behavior, im sure its hard to say but im just curious if anyone has seen this.

also does anyone know what their growth rate is like? i am feeding krill, brine shrimp, and bloodworms right now, anything else i should try?(he wont go for pellets)

they grow hella slow you'll probably fart dust before you see them full grown. and that is completely fine. it shows that they are very active. just make sure they eat well. and you'll be good.

agreed.

he could be begging for food:)

The behavior is absolutely normal, albiet a little unexpected. Sil

vers are one of the more aggressive and active dats, but at that size you're very lucky he isn't shy and hiding all the time, most dats become bolder as they get bigger. Try feeding him some shrimp or smelt, and then you can eventually ween him onto to pellets.
