swimming with whale sharks

i dont know if its been posted yet, but the georgia aquarium is now offering the opportunity to swim with the whale sharks. there is apparently a of people are against it saying it my be unsafe for the sharks. i think it would be awesome to do. its $190 to swim with them and $290 to scuba with them. they said they've sold out already for the next 3 months
 
Last summer we saw a 25footer off of Pensacola Beach. I was so tempted to jump in but the seas were just too rough. We cruised along side of her for an hour. It was by far the most breath taking sight I have seen.
 
They must be hard up for money. I wouldn't worry about the whale sharks, I'd be more worried about the other sharks in the tank coming up and checking out a diver.

Very few places will allow diving with captive sharks - and USUALLY it's a well run, very restricted program. Then again, on the other hand - I know of places that will do anything for an extra dime.
