Switched from color max to 10,000k

Recently switched my old lights to new 48" 10,000k T5's.. Went four feet on a six foot tank to get that shaded look on the corners.... Annndddd since this is worthless without pics here we go

great lookin tems... mine are well on their way. congrats.
lighting is definetly something that is often overlooked with many keepers trying to achieve "that look"

on a side note, sort of.
do you have night time lighting? i have a small blue light that is pretty dim that i never have set up, something i should test out.
i havent seen any night lighting (so far) with cichla tanks.
any benefits (aside from "looks cool") or negatives? wonder if it differes with species?
im sure my clown knife would look unbelievable with a little night lighting

No night lighting currently.. Can't see it really hurting or helping with these guys.. I know in the salt water world it's helpful for corals and what not. Could definitely be cool to see though
