I have a 125 gallon tank, keep it at 78 degrees, ph is pretty close to 8.0
Currently my stocklist is the following, all being CA or SA (except the p. polleni)

Paratilapia polleni
Severum
Red hump (male)
blue acara
Geo. surinamensis
Bujurquina vittata (female)
Chocolate cichlid
H. nicaraguense
firemouth

I've really been leaning towards switching the tank to some Rift lake cichlids, especially Malawi haps, but I also like some peacocks or maybe even Tangs, depending on what I would do. I'm not too concerned about the water parameters, as I've bred Tangs (Neolamp. ocellatus and multifasciatus) in the same conditions. But my concern would be splitting up the current list without having to part ways with most of the current fish. I'm expecting to keep the polleni in the setup, but otherwise the only empty tanks I have are a 20 long and a 29 gallon, which obviously wouldn't suffice for the majority of my current fish. I'm willing to give away the chocolate cichlid and the Geo. surinamensis. Just wanted to see if anyone has ideas as to how I might be able split the current fish among the 2 smaller tanks, or possibly keeping them with Africans (I'm not going for a biotope or anything, as I'm willing to mix Malawi with Tanganyikans, or even with a "spare" New World cichlid).
I'm not sold yet on what I'd like to keep, but I do like Dimidiochromis compressiceps for example, but I'm trying to go for a mix that is both interesting and colorful. Maybe Sciaenochromis fryeri?
Thanks for the help.

I don't understand your answer. What mistake? I'm asking for opinions on a possible tank setup and what I can do to go about doing it.
