Well, tonight I'll be making the switch from frozen bloodworms to live earthworms, and was wondering if there's anything specific I need to do, or will it instinctually know what to do? It's been eating two blodworm cubes a night, so it should be able to handle the smaller worms I picked up from the store.

It will chomp down live nightcrawlers without any assistance trust me. I used to feed my 10" E Cat nightcrawlers all the time.
