switching from ampicillin to jungle fungus clear

my lfs suggested i use ampicillin but it doesnt seem to be working and the fungus actually spread to the other fish. I want to switch to Jungle Fungus Clear because my friend told me it worked well for him. I want to get my fish on this treatment right away but I read that it's not good to mix medication. I put the carbon back in the filter, how long will it take to get the ampicillin out of the water? its a 30 gallon tank
