So I bought some NLS Thera-a sinking pellets for my FH hoping it will help stop him from ramming his head into the filter. But it seems like he is not used to eating off the bottom of tank. What would be the best way to get him used to it? Feed him 50/50 GS with NLS or take away the GS until he's forced to eat the NlS pellets?

Starve him, I do that when switching fry to different pellet in the new tank with sand, eventually they start sifting for food that sinks.

I agree with the above post. Just don't feed for 1-3 days, drop a couple pellets in daily. If he doesn't eat, remove them and continue with starving.

I bet they chew any type of pellet we just don't see it.
