HI,
I am in the process of switching from my 75 gal SA Tank to an African Tank. I am trying to figure out how to keep the PH up. I would prefer to not add in any chemicals, and I am not willing to change the substrate. Would putting crushed coral in my filter be strong enough to raise the PH. My tap water is roughly 7.0 witout any additives.
I do not want to use THR b/c it just looks awful next to the natural brownish looking gravel.
Maybe put crushed coral in filter bags under the substrate?
Thanks for the help in advance.
