I am thinking my male Henlei is to small to flip the female over and that is why they are having issues breeding. The female (who has bred in captivity) is way larger than him and aside from gettin bite marks on her disc will have nothing to do with breeding.

I am thinking of switching the male out of for a while and trying her with my other male who is larger. (the male may have also a better shot at the females in the other tank as they are considerably smaller.
I am wanting opinions on this..precautions, suggestions etc

I can't guarantee that the male is sexually mature, but I would guess his disc is 14-15 inches. He bites the female around the disc.

Anyway I did do the switch for a while and we will see what happens

You can see if the male is sexually mature if the claspers are open. Also more females is better then just one ( yes I know mature animals are aproblem at the moment) . Also to males and some females can do the trick.Compatition between the males can get a faster result.

It takes longer as we thought to get all the toxic fumes and durt out of the tank. So watter parameters are not just right for the rays. Proberly have to wait till the end of januarie befor the first rays go in. But better do it right then be sorry aftrewards
