Hey guys I was wondering if anybody has any experience acclimating the GSP and freshwater lion fish to saltwater? Currently they are in a freshwater tank and I heard they can easy acclimate to saltwater. Can anybody verify this and explain how I accomplish this?
Thanks guys!

If the GSP is old enough, I'm sure it'd appreciate the move to a saltwater tank.

However, I can't speak for the 'freshwater' lionfish, because I don't know what species it is. Not all of them will tolerate fully marine water. If you're unsure on the species, post up a pic so we can help identify it. :)

What's GSP? In the SW world it refers to green star polyp. One of the most common corals.

he means green spotted puffer and gsp r extremely easy to acclimate now i would be careful with the toad fish it would have a harder time but eventually they can live in saltwater to so eya every time u clean the tank at a lil bit more salt evety time

Well I acclimated them over about a weeks time, and the GSP couldn't be happier. I was pretty nervous the first night he was in there just kinda being pushed around the tank by the flow of the powerheads. But by the next morning his little belly is FULL! As to the lionhead, I haven't seen him in 3 days now... haha Then again I couldnt ever find him in my FW tank with minimal hiding places so I imagine hes tucked back in a rock somewhere..
