my p-bass are getting too large for my 40 gallon tank and i am going to put them in a 90.....finally. the only problem is that i need to put the 90 in the exact spot that the 40 is in right now. how can i do this without harming the fish and ensuring the 90 gallon tank is good to go when i put them in it. any help would be much obliged.

I would put the fish in a cooler with an airstone and heater , take down the tank and use the old filters on the 90 .Acclimate the fish and your good to go might want to grab some substrate from the old tank too. Im moving soon been thinking of how to do it for a couple days

just get a bin move over every thing! into the bin then add the 90 then retraver every thing when its ready :)

retraver?

These are good ideas. You probably don't need an airstone and a heater since they won't be in there for long. Add your used filter, all of the substrate plants etc so the tank won't cycle. Make sure you add it them to the tank after you've dechlor'ed it. Make sure the temp is the same, then acclimate the fish as there may be a ph difference.
