I might be getting a 125 gal and I was wondering how to switch the water or if I just do the whole filtration thing over again:feedback:

You mean to keep your beneficial bacteria? It lives mostly in your filter. Just fill your new tank, dechlorinate, move filter over (don't let it dry out or disconnect it from tank until right before the move). You might get a mini cycle, but it should be small.

to be safe id put the fishies in a temp home(sm tank/bucket) and drain the water into the new tank and then add if needed. even a mini cycle can kill your fish...GL thats what im doing right now....and its working...

Eh, mini cycles. Nothin' to fear.

There's almost 0 bacteria in your water column, just to let you know.

It could help if for whatever reason your tap was different than the water you're keeping your fish at (buffers, any other factor) as far as ph shock goes.
