My little Leo male seems to have quite a swollen belly. They have not been fed since this morning so its not because he is full but he looks like he is. All other rays in the tank are fine. Nothing has changed in the tank in the last few days. Any ideas?

I had a similar thing happen to a female motoro although she didn't make it. I have heard people use Epsom salts with some success - if you think it's internal blockage.
I would use 1 large tablespoon per 10 gallons of water. Check your water parameters again. If after fully dissolved and circulated, your ph is relatively stable, add that same amount again.

This advice is from George Fear of Shark Aquarium

Personally I would not start treating until diagnosis is attained. If you can get a picture you might get some more advice. For starters you need to know age of ray, size, diet, tank size and ALL water parameters. without these no diagnosis is possible.

Checked on him this morning and he was dead. Im gutted.

His belly was quite swollen and his ass seemed really red, he seemed to be straining a bit late last night, Im wondering if he was blocked up

Absolutely gutted to have lost this little fella. the other 3 rays are all fine though so hopefully it is not something in the water
