Swollen Gourami's Parasites Contagious...?

I have a Gourami that probably has internal parasites (swollen, scales protruding, stringy waste). Is this contagious to the other fish in my tank...?

sounds like dropsy, I would treat fast, but he may already be too far along.

Any updates? Epsom salt dip is an option. Other than that, there is not much hope once the fish suffers protruding scales.

if it is something like worms, it would be contagious though
