Swollowed a snail?

SO i have a delhezi thats about 4 inches now. about 10 days ago it swollowed something large in my community tank. Im guessing its a snail because any fish would have digested by now. it wont eat. I pulled it out of the community tank and have it in a 20 gal long tank by itself now. Ive kept bichirs for about a year now, so i know what normal digestion looks like.

Any suggestions on how to help him pass it? Is he doomed? any ideas will help at this point.

What sort of snails have you got in the tank? Depends on the size of the snail I would think.

Best is to just wait and hopes he excrete out the shell.

their zebra snails. The bulge in its stomach is now at its butt. Its really big. I really don't think it will be able to pass it. Good thing i bought two.

If your avatar is a picture of your tank, I'd guess it swallowd gravel.
