Just got in a half dozen Centropomus ensiferus. If you're fond of snooks (and who isn't), these are the ones to get. They only grow to a foot and have a higher shine/flash than their larger cousins. Found out real quick just how much fun it is to take flash pics of a species noted for large iridophores (pigment cells that reflect a metallic sheen). Anywho, out of 24 pics, here are the only two that came out (sorta). Oh, these little 3 incher guys are fast, too. Which makes photo sessions even more enjoyable. These fish started feeding about 15 minutes out of their bags.
