swordtail breeding!?!?

my female swordtail is being chased around by my male swordtail and the male is backing into her it looks funny but any ways the males anal fin keeps on toching the female. is this breeding? how do i tell how far in pergencey she is. she also has a gravid spot. how long in tell she burst?

Yes thats there "intercourse" lol she'll get fatter and fatter as she gets farther along. I think they usually stay pregnant for about 2 1/2-4 weeks before giving birth

Breeding of swordtail is easy- you'll probably see fry pretty soon.

youll see some fry..then more fry..then some more fry..lol...i had my swordtails breed once and like a month later there were like 100 fry lol
