Swordtails

How long does it take for swordtails to grow to a breeding size? Because I got some amazing swords from my friend Bill and just to garuntee i'd get a male he gave me one of his young breeder males, how long till the half inch or so fry be able to breed?

and i attached a picture of the male just because i love it so much! the picture isnt very good but u get the idea, and he is a very bright red with his eyes the same color as his body!

I'd give them a couple of months. The best way to tell is when the males have their gonopodium - then they're ready!

yeah they are all high fin! my friends al turn out fine and i would have trouble finding a standard fin female with such great genes! these are bright red with red eyes most standard fins do not!

at about an inch i would say so like in idk 2 months maybe less
