What does the head of a large swamp eel look like? Here's a fair head shot of my 4 footer. Take notice of the background. That's the back third of him curled around the back of the quarantine tank. Better pics to follow.

Based on the growth rate of my last one, I'd say 6 years old. This one is new and you're seeing him in the 80gal quarantine tank. I'll try for better pics once I move him to his 125.
