Syno ocellifer and eupterus ?

I currently have a Eupterus and was contemplating picking up an ocellifer but had a couple questions. How would the two of them do together in my 100G tank? Are the ocellifer as nocturnal as the Eupterus? Will the Ocellifer darken up on a black substrate? (I can't even hardly see the Eupterus unless he's directly in the light.)

As with all Synodontis catfishes it is a primarily nocturnal species they are quite peaceful

I second that the synos are real gentle cats. They pretty much get along with about anything.
