While rescaping the tank, my Syno decided to have a bubble massage. He's been doing this for almost an hour now. It's fun to watch!
I know. He was moving so much I couldn't get a clear shot. Also couldn't get rid of repeat pictures.
He was really enjoying the bubble bath though.

I can't tell with certainty what species it is. It reminds me strongly of the most common syno hybrid at older age when they tend to lose most spots. If this is the case, it is not a species in the sense we are used to, I guess. It'd be a man made mutt.

He's very old. Inherited him from a friend of mine who passed away last year. He said it was a Nigritis. He had him for years and I have had him for 1.
