I've been keeping Synodontis cats for a while now but, I've got a question. Can I add salt to the water with them in it? I've read that some scaleless cats are harmed by it but it doesn't actually say Syno cats. Anybody?

I had my synos in the tank when I did a heat/salt ich treatment, and they were fine, but I don't know about the affects of long term exposure.
