As I'm doing my water changes today my silly synodontis got stuck in between the heater and the wall of the tank. The heater was off but still hot. He's now got a white blister going down the length of his body. Other than clean water what can I do to help him heal? Is this a death sentence for him? He's acting very lethargic, isn't even hiding like he usually does :(

Mine does this all the time and I don't know why...

avoid this in the future by creating more dark holes for him to hide.

It was certainly my fault. I took all the rock work out of the tank for the water change and he had no where else to hide. Usually when I do that he just hangs out in the open. I feel terrible about it and have definitely learned from it. I just hope its not at the expense of losing him. I've had him since he was 1/2" and would hate to lose him because of a stupid mistake...
