Synodontis catfish with umbee

Cat fish can eat umbees if they are too small. Umbee can shred the catfish if it's in the Umbee's zone

If you have enough tank space for their size and enough hiding places for the catfish, I think some Umbees might not even care about them if there are hiding places. Depends on individuals.

Well the fry, I'm looking for a possible tank mate for one male or a pair, it's not a must and the umbees are still small 2.5-3 inches but I was going to get a pleco or something to cycle the tank while my brother grows out the umbees then putting one or two in my 220

I think once the Umbee is grown it will eat the syno cat if they are still sharing a tank and that is if the Umbee doesn't kill it while it is small.
