Does anyone have any info on this fish? I have been searching for quite awhile to ID this fish and finaly today a guy at a LFS found it in a book for me, unfortunately there was almost no info on it. But there is no question that this is the fish that I have. (bought at Walmart as an upsidedown catfish!) All I know right now about it is the name and that it grows to 10". Thanks.
P.S. it may be S. Caudovitalus or S. Caudovitatus (not quite sure about his writing)

;) i think it will most likely end up being a S nigrita or S eupterus.;)

Thanks, looks like I was one 't' short in my spelling for my websearch.

It is definitely a S. Caudovittatus. Mine is more contrasting between light and dark colors than the one pictured there and the head is more streamlined like the one in the sketch on the data page but there is no doubt that it is the correct ID. Thanks for the info.
