So, picked up two Synodontis Eupterus and added them to my 125 on the 22nd along with two tiny Pseudotropheus crabro (maybe 1 in). They were ok until today when I came down and found that one was at the top with a patch of skin skin either missing or turned white. I moved him into a holding area, and he seems to not be able to right himself very well. Can not get a picture right now, but will try to get one. Parameters are as follows:
Ph: 8
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10
Tankmates are:

1 x Nimbochromis Livingstonii (Livingstonii)

1 x Iodotropheus Sprengerae (Rusty)

2 x Pseudotropheus Crabro (Bumble Bee)

1 x Ancistrus (Bristlenose Pleco)

I did move rocks around, maybe he got pinched during that? Any ideas on what this could be?

Could he have somehow rested up against a heater? Looks like either burns or some type of bacterial infection.

Sorry for your loss. :(

He might have..... the heaters are low enough so that he could have to them. It is cray how fast stuff like this can happen. Do you have any tips on preventing this in the future? Thanks.
