Synodontis ID please

I picked up this syno 2 months ago. I bought it as synodontis multipunctata (cuckoo catfish) but now I think it might be a granulosa. Which really pisses me off as I paid 50$ for him. I'm stuck between the two. Anyone help?

it's a multi. a granulosa would have cost much more than 50 dollars. thay are also dark gray or black in body color.

Ok thanks. I saw this vid on youtube about id'ing his new synodontis and people said it was a granulosa. He bought as petricola of 6$.

Wait... omg I have a fourth synodontis I bought in January that matches ur exact description. Again I bought as multipunctata...
Is it just gray or does it have a hint of very dark brown in it? This syno is very shy which is unusual for multipunctata and it looks different from my other multi's.

OOPS i got confused there. i meant synodontis grandiops not granulosa. does this look like grandiops???

after reviewing google images this one really looks like a grandiops. can any1 confirm this?
