i went to walmart earlier today and saw the most misserable looking catfish ive ever seen at a pet store. the fish itself is a tad bit smaller then 1" and was missing most of its fins. they thought that housing this tiny cat with affrican cichlids was a good idea, never the less he was all alone in that tank

actually the synodontis cats are pretty good tank mates for africans.....you will find this with a bit of research

yea i figured that but at that size and the sign of aggression the africans were showing i wouldn't doubt that the africans hit him a time or two. hints he's missing all his fins ( but he still has his spines)

yea same here so i had to save him, he looked horrible so i couldn't let him stay. all they care about is selling the fish, they could care less what shape they are in

earlier today the lace cat died... i saw this coming from the way the cat looked at wal-mart. i wish i could save him but no luck. he was a really cool cat and would like to get another one but that will have to wait.

sweet! maybe later i will get another one, im not sure right now.

I have a 10 inch Angelicus cat. Same family as the lace but more expensive and prettier IMO. He is going on 11 years! They are my favorite fish!

here in wyoming i have a limited fish stock. the only syno cat anywhere withing 4 hours away is the syno lace. no exotics, no discus, and what really makes me mad is no ancient and more specific no arowana!!
