I got two synodontis eupterus from Ken Davis. One is fine, the other not so good. They both poked holes in their bags, but not a lot of water leaked out. There was plenty of water in the bags, and multiple bags were used. I don't think this could've been avoided. As you all know, they have sharp spines.
One is doing great in the tank. The other is listing to one side, lost a lot of color and breathing rapidly. I got them acclimated and in the tank as quickly as possible. Their time in transit was 24 hours. What can I do to help the not so well syno?
Also, there is plenty of O2 in the tank and the lights are off to ease stress. Nobody is picking on the sick one. I've contacted Ken for pointers but haven't heard back yet. I figured I'd ask you guys for help too.
So, what should I do?
Thanks in advance for any and all help and/or suggestions.
