synodontis prices - eupterus, ocellifer, frontosa / budgetti

i am selling some syno's and i was just wondering what a fair price is?
i have
3 Synodontis eupterus 4-5"
3 Synodontis ocellifer 5-6"
1 larger syno that i cant identify 10-12"

my guess is either Synodontis frontosa or Synodontis budgetti based on what i have found online
how common are these at this size? prices?

around here, a eupterus sells in stores for about $17-20 for about 3-4"
obviously i am not asking that much, but i was wondering if you take that into consideration, what are decent asking prices for the fishes?

Are you selling them to anyone? Can you ship? Can we get pictures of them? If we get pics we can id the one your not sure about.

i may be able to get pics later tonight... i went through every syno on planetcatfish.com and those are the 2 that look the most like the unknown

those arent very big.... you must not have had them for very long. Well the 10-12" is pretty massive for a syno

But as for prices i'd say

10 a piece and 25 for all 3 eupterus. Pretty common so not really worth all that much

i'd say same for ocellifer

as for the mystery cat i'd guess it is a frontosa,seem to be a little more common. and you could get away with 35-40 if not more.

thanks for the info ... they actually have only been in my tank for a week (hence me not knowing much) i basically rescued them from someone after he posted "catfish sale" on craigslist.
they were cramped and he didnt care for them, and offered me everything and a channel cat and 2 USD cats for 40 bucks.
but now my LFS is getting in a ton of fish that i have been waiting to be available, so i could use the tank space. i had been telling people $5 a fish, but i suppose i may increase that a little now
 
well if you want them gone quick then $5 a piece will do it, and you'll just about make back what you spent on them.

But they are all pretty good size. Here eupterus go for 15.99 at petsmart and the larger ones like you have are about double. Which i would not spend on a syno that common, but someone must cause they charge it.

Ocellifer i dont really see all that often esp for it being called the common syno and all. But i wouldn't charge any more for them than the eupterus.

And really i'd say keep the Syno front, cause you are not gonna find one that size again for that good of a deal. But if you must, then you must.

What are you getting if you don't mind me asking?
 
i am growing out some more fish to go in with my larger SA's
i am picking up a niger catfish, giraffe catfish, and a few small p.bass
otherwise the tank will just be the large syno, a 7" IR, and the ripsaw, and p.bass

that ?frotosa? will be fine in there with a smaller niger and a few p.bass right?
the giraffe should be large enough to go straight into my 180 :headbang2
 
But some pic's up bro of the bigger one? I'll more than likely take him if i don't have some allready...
 
i think i am going to just keep him (unless you really really want him) but i will work on pics none the less
 
I'm really interested if i don't have one allready... I think i have 99% of them so i would be real happy if i don't have some...
