Hi I have just noticed that my entire mother aponogeton ulvaceus has been eaten all the way down to the roots and even some of the roots have been eaten. My mother echinodorus roots are being eaten and ripped out of the substrate, and somebody is beginning to eat my cryptocoryne leaves. The aponogeton had over 20 leaves, was about 30" tall, and probably weighed close to a pound. My echinodorus is mostly ok lots of tears in the leaves and the roots are totally destroyed. The echinodorus is 20" tall and the crypts are about 4" X 3" and only a few inches tall. Their is only 1 big fish in the tank, a huge synodontis hybrid about 9" long. Everybody else is under 3"-4". Their are about 4 different species of synodontis including wild caught cuckoo catfish in this tank. But the hybrid is the only big 1.

Discus, firemouth cichlids, bn plec, elephant nose (morymid), silver hatchetfish, many cuckoo catfish, petricola catfish, and freshwater gobies (rhinogobius) all coexist in this setup.

Stock list - please see my profile description, It has the most complete, in-depth information about the tank in question which is the 100g custom. Everything you could ask for is their, information about the heater, filtration, plants, etc...
