Has anyone ever kept these together? I have a Synodontis ocellifer and a decorus in my rift tank and am thinking about moving one of them to the tank with the bichirs.

I have two featherfin synos and an ornate bichir I've had them together for a decade or so. They basically ignore each other other than the bichir occasionally biting the syno's fins.

Thanks, I think I’ll go for it

Just an FYI, some synos (eupterus or featherfin in this case) will eat off slime coats. This one did it with all 3 of my sens that I have kept and killed a young Delhezi. Not sure if other species would do the same.

Nibblet and Toothless died towards the end of 2019 unfortunately, found a weird way to get out. This is Muppet, a fish I rehomed from someone last year
