synspila and pearsei question

Hi - thinking about getting some synspila and/or pearsei.

How bad are they with plants and are there any plants they don't touch?

Terrible with plants. The only thing you could try would be the extremely hardy plants. Usually either of these two fish will eat the plants or up root them then eat them.

Thanks for the info. I guess it's still an easy choice (foe me) between nice fish and plants . Back to plastic/silk I guess...

i just recently got a 10 inche pearsei and he destroyed my silk plants ,he pulls on the plastic one but doesnt do much damage but silk didnt stand a chance

My Pearsei doesn't care about the 1 silk plant in the tank. LOL Its kinda smalll anyway.
