I bought a pair of Synspilum and turned out they're a pair
They laid the eggs last night
i was curious because they are in a community tank
Is it alright to remove the stone the eggs are on and put it into a seperate rearing tank as otherwise they will surely get eaten?

Keep in mind, to remove any of the fish (including the parents) involves dropping the entire tank to catch them
removing the stone sounds alot easier

When I want to keep a cichlid spawn [ non mouth brooders ] I always remove the eggs to a spare tank. Run a air stone close to the eggs and dose meth blue at 4 drops per gallon.
