Hi guys, I brought back my little texas because of its aggressive behavior and replaced it with a 1.5 inch Synspilum. I have him/her in a 55 gallon grow out with my two Breidoris which are a little under 1.5 inches.

The Syn is really food aggressive towards the breidohris but no so much when not eating. Currently, the Syn is the boss of the tank but I believe I have a male breidohri that is growing at a faster rate then the other which makes me nervous.

My question is could they co-exist or will there be war?

You might have better luck in a larger tank. They will get way too large for a 55g.

Thank you for your response. They are currently in a 55 gallon grow out. meaning once they hit a larger size i will relocate them to a larger tank.

if they grow together,it may work,or not.cichlids will decide.syns seem to have a more tolerant nature toward other fish, but each fish has it's own personality.if your bredhori pair up,then most likely the other tankmates will get roughed up,or killed.even in a big tank.always plan for the worst case.so many combos can work.much is trial and error with caution, act early remove those getting abused
