Synspilum Growth Rate(s)

Hopefully my last Paratheraps question for a while........lol. What type of growth rate can I expect from my Synspilum on a monthly basis?

They are pretty fast growers. Mine went from 1in to a little over 6in in 9 months. Out of the vieja I keep, only coatzacoalcos & melanarus were faster.
 
I have a pair of 2" juvi syncs I picked up about a month ago. They have grown about 1/2" in that time.

Follow up question:
At what size do they start to color up?
 
Color starts pretty early on syns. You'll see it start to come in around 3-4in.
 
weekly water changes will help them grow very fast .. i bought mine very small and it seemed over night they were 10"

That's cool. He/she gets two water changes per week (one at 20%, the other at 40%). Conditions will be favorable for healthy growth.
