Synspilum Update

Quick update on my male Synspilum. Simply put, this guy is growing faster than any fish I've ever kept (including Oscars, RD's, etc). He's currently getting a combination of NLS, Hikari Sinking Carnivore, Algae Wafers, and the occasional cube of frozen bloodworms. In the first picture below, he is around 5-5.5" (when I bought him in mid-Feb). In the second picture (taken today), he measured in at 7.75". You guys weren't kidding when you said this species grows very fast. Granted, I have been feeding 2-3 x daily, as well as performing 3 water changes a week. Definitely a gentle giant. Enjoy

Wow, 2"+ in a single month. Due to my work schedule, I can't feed my Vieja growouts 3 times a day. They get fed around 5:30pm and 9pm M-F. Not a big deal though, I'm actually in no hurry for them to growout fully
