they are a pair getting ready to breed. I don't plan to keep fries if they breed so I might not let it happen if I feel I can not sell the fries. It is a lot of work.

Yeah, better question really is who wouldn't! Purists aside, those are going to be amazing fish. They might throw a few dirty turd babies, but overall OMG, those will be amazing by about 8".

i personaly would like to growout some. if you do end up having fry, dont take any to a lfs. try to sell to folk from mfk and other fish websites.

Yeah, LFS would either sell them as one species or the other or try to call them flowerhorns.

Since 2005 when I started keeping cichlids, I've only bred 4 times.
1) 2006 Banana yellow KML X Red dragon; all fries died,
2) 2007 kml fh X KKP,
3)2008 Banana yellow Kamfa X KKP; all fries died..
4) 2009 Breidohris,

So I've only had 2 sucessful breedings.. I got rid of all fries to MFK members.

Anyways..

I dont plan to breed to sell to lfs. And if I have no choice with too many, I'll tell them what they R and make sure they don't sell them as something else or FHs. They're gonna be 100% colors for sure for sure for sure but they're not gonna go out with out genetic labels.

And right now they are a pair. But can not rush. When it happens it happens. I don't really care right now. I'll keep them together though.
