I need to syphoon the water from my 65 gallon tank to my 125. The 125 sits about 1.5 feet higher than the 65. I cant seem to get the syphoon to flow water from the 65 to the 125.

Is there any better way to get the water from the 65 into the 125??

use a pump LOL

Syphon into a bucket then dump into other tank.

LOL

Use a pump to PUSH the water UP....Or.....SIPHON the 65 water into a bucket and POUR into the 125....Or.....Carry the 65 onto your shoulders and simply pour the water directly into the 125....Or....If you a Jedi Master like me, use the Force to carry the water from tank to tank....

If you have a canister on your 65, use it to pump the water to your other tank.
I did this going from my 150 to my 125, works great, just may need to extend the length of the tubing to reach the other tank. Or do the bucket thing.

or dont worry about the water in the small tank. If you're moving fish from one tank to another, the old water really wont help that much. Every time I do that I just add some dechlor to the tank, fill with temp matched water, let the cycled filters run for a few minutes, and put the fish in:)
