T-5 HO or MH?

Right now i have a 234w t-5 HO light on my reef. I have some softies, LPS and SPS corals along with a Sebae nem. Would there be any advantages to switching to a 380w MH pendant? It has a 250w HQI bulb and 2 65w actinic PC bulbs. I would like to have a little bit more wattage than what i have right now. Should i buy the MH?

What size tank? Do you think your coarals need more light?

Its a 40 gallon. I guess personally i would like more light but i guess my corals look okay. I just didnt know if when i get more stock and some hard corals if i would need more wattage.
