Just wanted to post a few pictures of these guys. They are starting to color up now and I'm very excited. I have 9 T. Aureus and 2 A. Robertsoni. They are still really small but larger then when I got them there being fed a large variaty of foods, and getting a water change at 50% every other day. There diet is as follows, kens tropical and veggie flakes, tetra color flakes hikari gold and staple, kens cichlid pellets, frozen mysis, brine, and blood worms. There in a 180 gallon tank with a non breeding pair of salvini, a juvie argentea 3 inches, a L128 and 2 rubber lip plecos (btw the rubber lips keep all the glass in a 180 spot less all the time). The tank is filtered/heated by a ehiem 2180. The temp is kept t 79 F. Alright enough of that on to pictures, best I could get with my cell phone.

First up we have the T. Aureus

And that's it thanks for looking.

Sounds like an awsome tank. I haven't had any luck mixing any thorichthys w/ a. robertsoni, but think that was because I have a 72g. I am going to try to mix again once I get a bigger tank. I can't wait to see your tank when these fish are full grown..

This is not the tank they will be in for good. I plan on picking the best looking robertsoni and probably a few pairs of the aureus and putting them in a 110 show with a bocourti... I'm just growing out so many fish right now I though I would give them the big tank... my pearsei and a pair of meeki will be joining the argentea and salvini in the 180 in a few weeks. I will be posting pics and info on both tanks when I do the swap... its gonna be awesome. I am very excited to keep all these fish, I am a long time salvini keep but I have never kept anything else that is in these tanks so its pretty exciting. Thanks for the nice comments.

That sounds awsome. You'll really love the robertsonis when they are bigger. The color just keeps getting better with age. They have a lot of personality too.
